Microsoft Mathematics Add-In wont insert 3-D Graphs in Word 2007
I just installed Microsoft Mathematics Add-In to my laptop which runs XP Professional and Office 2007. I was playing around with the features to see what it would do. I was able to graph a 2-D function and insert it into my document. Then I tried a 3-D graph. The graph was perfect, but when I tried to insert, I received an error. Unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application. If you click continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. A generic error occurred in GDI+. When I click on detials, the following is listed: See the end of this message for details on invoking will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer rather than be handled by this dialog box.
Try to remove and reinstall the Mathematics Add-In and check if it resolves the issue. Ganesh Kumar N
MS .Net Framework - Unhandled Exception
Hi All, While doing normal Ms Outlook Email typing and typed in the alphabet 'P', sometimes some other alphabets, .Net Framework will pop up this error screen, then I will need to close and re-launch my Ms Outlook 2007 in order to finish drafting my mail. Error: =============== =============START OF CODE== ======================= ====
What is the type of email account (POP3, IMAP, MAPI or Exchange )setup on Outlook? Open Outlook in its application safe and check if you can receive emails: Click Start > All programs > Accessories > Run > Type 'outlook /safe' (Without the quotes and note the space in the command). If you are able to receive emails in Outlook safe, disable the add-ins and check if the issue occurs: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook-help/enable-or-disable-add-ins-in-office-programs-HA010034127.aspx
Anyone else have this? We have the same problem - Intermittent. Occurs when pressing the 'p' character on a uk-en keyboard. In recent months this has occurred several times, and is usually specific to an individual email or sender. Again, as mentioned by others it's so difficult to troubleshoot because once the application is restarted the issue goes away.
Did you get a resolution to this issue? I am having the exact same thing in Outlook 2010.
As the issue is intermittent, it is difficult to figure out what could be causing the issue. Check for Event viewer logs for more information on the error : http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Open-Event-Viewer You may repair Office 2007 and check if the issue occurs: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/help/diagnose-and-repair-crashing-office-programs-by-using-office-diagnostics-HA001234076.aspx If the issue persists, as the issue is related to '.Net Framework' as it is integrated with the Windows operating system your issue is better addressed in the Windows forum mentioned below in order to repair the '.Net Framework: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum?tab=unanswered
Same here :/
I've not seen the this error re-occur in our organization for some time now, nearly 6 months. I can't believe that so few people experience it.
Hi Aarvinda, Yes, we are able to receive emails when we close and re-open. The problem is that once we re-started Outlook, the .NET error is gone and it is very intermittent issue. Thanks.
Just had it again... :(
Files not opening during virus scan
While doing a virus scan on my computer, I noticed this in the scan log. My scan overall however says no threats found. Should I be worried? Boot sector of disk C: - error opening C:\$WINDOWS.~BT\Sources\Panther\diagerr.xml - error opening C:\$WINDOWS.~BT\Sources\Panther\diagwrn.xml - error opening C:\$WINDOWS.~BT\Sources\Panther\setupact.log - error opening C:\Windows.old\Windows\System32\winevt\Logs\Windows PowerShell.evtx - error opening C:\Windows.old\Windows\WinSxS\amd64_microsoft-windows-n..n_service_datastore_31bf3856ad364e35_10.0.10240.16384_none_d92f025ad0ad01f7\dnary.xsd - error opening
Hi Sayan, Thank you for the response. I am using eset Smart Security 9 as the antivirus and firewall. I have not had any history of issue prior to performing the scan. The only event that occurred prior to me beginning to receive these errors with scans was a Windows 10 update. The laptop is less than 4 months old and was purchased with Windows 10. There was an update performed and I have seen these errors ever since. The scan itself says 0 threats found but all of these errors lead me to believe something is wrong. I found a similar thread in the community for Windows 8.1 so I followed the guidance in that thread (sfc/scannow; DISM Scanhealth; DISM Restorehealth) with no success. What steps should I take next?
Split from this thread. Hi. I am experiencing the same problem. I tried the steps here and my pc seemed to get stuck in the DISM screens. First the hand then after I closed the window, the Restorehealth. In both instances, the screen just showed a flashing prompt line. I gave both commands 30 minutes to run prior to closing the window. What should I try next?
