You should ask for help from the developer of this unnamed program that you are running. TD.exe and .NET Runtime are tools used by software developers. Application: TD.exe Framework Version: v4.0.30319 Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception. Exception Info: System.IO.FileNotFoundException Generally speaking, clr20r3 is just a event message showing that there is an unhandled exception in your application. It is the application's developer's responsibility to deal with this exception.

Windows 7 64 bit- Getting exception with message "AppName has stopped working"
Hi, I'm working on a 32 bit product which runs perfectly fine on 32 bit machines. I bought a Windows 7 64 bit laptop and my app has stopped working. The app fails to load C++ dlls which it references. I have tried installing vcredist_x86.exe for VC++ 2005, VC++ 2005 SP1, VC++ 2005 ATL Security update, but nothing has solved the problem. When i opened the problem details file (got link for it from event viewer), i observed .NET 64 bit dlls getting loaded instead of .NET 32 bit dlls. The problems details file is pasted below. I have both .NET 32 bit and 64 bit installed in my laptop. When the application is run i wonder why this call: LoadedModule=C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v2.0.50727\mscorwks.dll Kind Regards, Vinay

Hello, Have you tried installing this (vcredist_x64)? I mean, just to keep updated? My problems went away with it... http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=90548130-4468-4BBC-9673-D6ACABD5D13B hth, Marcelo If my post solved you problem, please mark it as an "Answer". This way, other users that have the same questions will know how to proceed. If my post helped you some way, don't forget to score it as useful.
Hi Marilyn, The application is what we are building from scratch. It is on c#, .NET 3.5, WPF. It references few C/C++ dlls from the previous version of the same product. Previously the event viewer showed the error as Side by Side Error. But now it is showing as "The application has stopped working..." Thanks, Kind Regards, Vinay
Hi Marcelo, Getting the same error after installing vcredist_x64. As shown in the problem details above, i wonder by 64 bit .NET dlls are getting loaded when my app is 32 bit. And i have both versions of .NET installed(32 & 64). Thanks for your efforts. Kind Regards, Vinay
